Standard Cancellation and Refund Procedure
More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Timeline for Processing: 5-7 working days
Processing Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Requirements: Must be submitted via written communication such as email or a phone call
24-72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Half the total charter cost
Timeline for Processing: 7-10 working days
Processing Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Requirements: A valid reason is needed; administrative expenses will be incurred
Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: No refund options are available
Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into account
Alternate Option: A credit towards future charters may be proposed at the discretion of the management
Requirements: Supporting evidence required for emergency cases
Cancellations Due to Weather
Weather Guarantee
Your safety remains our utmost concern. If our certified captain determines that weather conditions make sailing unsafe, we'll offer several alternatives:
- Full Refund: A 100% refund is provided if rescheduling is unfeasible
- Reschedule: You can rebook your charter for the next available spot at no added charge
- Charter Credit: A voucher valid for 12 months from the original charter date is provided
Evaluation of Weather Conditions
Our assessment for safe charter conditions includes examining:
- Analysis of wind speed and direction
- Checking the height of waves and sea conditions
- Forecast of visibility and the likelihood of precipitation
- Observing advisories and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Expert review by our captain with regard to safety
Decision-Making Timeline: The call to cancel due to weather is made at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Refunds in the Event of Medical Emergencies
Extraordinary Situations
We are sympathetic to unforeseen medical incidences. The following scenarios may warrant extraordinary consideration:
- Unanticipated illness or injury necessitating hospital care
- Death within the immediate family
- Military duty call-ups or urgent recalls
- Jury summons or legal subpoenas
- Natural catastrophes impacting travel
Requirement for Documents
For processing of refunds in emergency cases, please provide:
- Evidence from a medical institution or hospital
- Death notification (when applicable)
- Formal military instructions
- Summons from court or jury notices
- Emergency declarations or travel warnings
Procedure: Requests for emergency refunds will be handled within 3-5 business days after receiving the necessary papers.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Vessel Malfunctions
If the yacht allocated to you encounters insurmountable mechanical issues:
- Substitute Vessel: Efforts will be made to provide a similar vessel
- Complete Refund: Offered in the absence of a suitable replacement
- Partial Refund: Given if the substitute yacht is differently priced
- Compensation: We may offer additional recompense for the inconvenience
Lack of Available Crew
Instances where a qualified crew member is not available are uncommon, but if they occur:
- A replacement crew will be sought where feasible
- A full refund is provided if the charter cannot go ahead
- Options to reschedule with no extra fees are offered

The refund will be processed back to the original mode of payment:
- Credit Card Transactions: About 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Generally 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque Payments: Typically 3-5 business days

€25 charge is applied to all bank transfer refunds

In certain cases, as an alternative to a refund, a charter credit might be proposed:
- For late cancellation requests (under 24 hours before charter)
- For weather-related cancellations
- For voluntary modifications to scheduling
- Due to unexpected operational hiccups
Stipulations for Credits
- Validity Period: The credit will be valid for 12 months from the issuance
- Transferability: The credit cannot be shifted to others
- Monetary Value: Equivalent to the full value of the charter without deductions
- Utilization: Credit can be used for any available yacht charter
- Expiration: Holding period cannot be extended beyond 12 months
Refunds for Partial Services
Service Disruptions
If your yacht trip is interrupted or curtailed by issues we are accountable for:
- A reimbursement proportional to the unused portion
- Credit equal to the disrupted service for a future rental
- Complimentary offers or enhancements
Interruptions Due to Guests
In the event the rental is terminated earlier because of guests' behavior or safety infractions:
- No reimbursement is provided for the time not used
- The entire cost is due and payable
- Extra fees could be assessed
Settling Disagreements Over Refunds
Should you find yourself disagreeing with a refund judgment, you are entitled to:
- Ask for an evaluation by our administration
- Present further evidence or documents
- Look for a solution with consumer protection entities
